The Perfect Beef Burger
1 1/2 pounds Ground Sirloin of Beef
1/2 pound Ground Chuck of Beef
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 egg
1 Tbsp A-1 Sauce
1/4 cup grated romano cheese

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.  Use your hands, it works better!  Shape patties of desired weight and place on a flat dish cover and refrigerate for about an hour.  Be careful not to over handle meat when shaping.  To guarantee a juicy burger handle meat as little as possible.

Patties can be made the day before, cover tightly with plastic wrap but do not freeze.

Place patties on a hot grill over direct heat and cook about 4 minutes a side with a hot fire to medium rare.

If you desire, place a slice of your favorite cheese on pattie about a minute before taking off the grill.

Serve hot off the grill on a grilled bun with your favorite garnish.
